Yes! Though I may be powerless now, once my punishment is over, I will regain my powers and finally be free!

What did you do?

The way things perceive the world around them holds great weight and as god of the mind, I could control what people thought and how they saw things. I used my powers without caring about what may come of the people or their homes. For this, I was punished.
